Alexander's Recovery Fund

My husband and I are co-presidents of Alexander Austin's East Coast fan club. We joined the club almost 30 years ago when my sister, Marla and her husband , Ken , were blessed with his birth.

On Wednesday, July 27, 2016, while working at an Idaho job site on a similar type of combine he played with as a kid, Alexander fell from the top. He sustained a traumatic head injury, a fracture to his sixth vertebrae, and multiple facial, skull and rib fractures. Emergency surgery was needed to remove a large cerebral blood clot. He remains in a coma.

Alexander's family drove all night from eastern Nebraska and flew from Kansas to be by his side.

Alexander has a long journey before he returns to his home in Kansas. He and his family will need not only our continued prayers and emotional support but also our financial support to help pay for family lodging and food along with Alexander's own needs through out his recovery.
