Mark Waltenbaugh is the senior pastor at New Beginnings Church in Clear Lake, Texas. On March 1, 2017, he was diagnosed with stage 3 Squamous Cell Carcinoma (esophageal cancer). Mark is a wonderful man of God who has dedicated his life to loving others the way Jesus did.  Just 8 weeks ago, his wife Kathi had a kidney transplant that has given her a second chance at life. Such an extensive surgery and process was quite demanding on them--both emotionally and financially. With Mark’s diagnosis, they are now facing a second financial challenge on the heels of Kathi’s transplant.

We know that God is faithful and that with the help of those who love Mark, as well as those who know the financial and emotional burdens of this illness, Mark and Kathi’s needs will be provided for.
