Hello family and friends. As many of you may know and for those who may not know, my sister-in-law Nickie was recently hospitalized on September 7, 2020 because of stomach pain and difficulty breathing. Further testing determined there were issues with her liver. As a result, she was transferred to a liver specialist at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles. After being admitted, she suffered multiple organ failure. She was diagnosed with aspiration pneumonia which required her to be placed on a ventilator since she was unable to breath on her own. She has also been on continuous dialysis to help filter out fluids from her body as her kidneys are not functioning properly. Currently, doctors have not been able to do any further testing to determine the extent of the liver damage because of the complications with her lungs. Due to Nickie being hospitalized, Jason has had to miss work to take care of his kids while also keeping up with Nickie’s progress calls, visits, and treatments from her doctors. This account is being set up by the families of Jason and Nickie to help aid with current medical expenses not covered by their insurance. These funds will also provide financial assistance to the family, as Jason is unable to work at this time. All funds raised will be given directly to Jason.

Our family is humbled and thanks you for your generosity. The enormous outpouring of prayers that we have received from family and friends from all over have been a comfort to us during this tough time. Your expressions of love and support are greatly appreciated.
