My name is Maiya Bailey and my best friend Kyle Hawk was living in Boston this summer and he and his boyfriend's building was destroyed in the Boston Charlestown fire on July 21st. Kyle attends Connecticut College and has an immense passion for running, traveling, and helping those around him. Kyle is the hardest working person that I know and is entirely a self-made man. It absolutely broke my heart to learn that he lost everything in this fire, especially because he has worked so hard to get where he is today. He wouldn't hesitate to help anyone in need and every cent raised will help him start new after this horrible accident. My heart goes out to anyone who can help my dearest friend.
