Help Us Save Our Cat

We are two autistic adults with disabilities. Our cat is very ill, and we have no funds to take her to the vet. We are on SNAP and Medicaid. We have no income.

Valkyrie has been with us for 11 years. She has moved across the country with me several times. She has been my constant companion for over a decade.

Valkyrie is in so much pain that I cannot touch her. She has a massive abscess in her mouth which has broken open. She is having trouble eating, drinking, and breathing. 

But we can't even afford the ride to the vet right now. 

I have called several vets in the area, and asked for advice. Their only advice is to bring her in, and none take payments. We don't qualify for CareCredit. We have lost a lot of time already, and I don't know how much longer we have.

Valkyrie has had an abscess in the past. When she needed surgery last time, it cost over $1800. This time, she will need an emergency dental, which is easily another $400. The rest of the money will be used for transportation to and from the vet (which is on the other side of town not served by the bus) and medication.
