Help Sandra Kidd Kick Cancer

My younger sister, Sandra Kidd, needs a litte help to get her through some rough times.

Sandra was recently diagnosed with breast cancer and has undergone a double mastectomy. She has recently started chemo treatments.

She was laid off of her job at the University of Utah last year and spent several months trying to find another job. She was successful but her new job with the VA included a move to Roseburg, Oregon last fall. She has not been with the job long enough to have built up much paid time off. What little she had has been used for surgery and medical appointments already and that also includes donated time from co-workers. She is continuing to work around her chemo treatments.

She is also in the position of needing to find a new housing situation, partly due to high rent and partly due to landlord problems. The housing market in  Roseburg is tight and credit card debt built up while she was unemployed adds to the difficulty of being approved for a place.

Sandra could use some help right now with paying some of her living expenses while she finishes her cancer treatments. This could include medical expenses (those bills are just starting to come in) as well as daily living expenses due to unpaid time off from work.

This is to help Sandra gain a little peace of mind as she fights to kick cancer.

Any help you can give will be so much appreciated. Should there be any leftover funds after her expenses are taken care of, they would be donated to a cancer charity to help others in need.
