Encouragement for Joe Barone

This week Joe Barone was hospitalized for a temporary LVAD heart pump as he is suffering from advanced heart failure and awaiting a heart transplant. His serious condition is the result after multiple heart attacks and further complicated by his rare O-Negative blood type. We are hopeful that a compatible heart is located in time. Thank God he was moved towards the top of the donor list with this latest downturn. We are told that as soon as the doctors can stabilize Joe here in Rochester with this pump, and a heart becomes available, the miracle can happen for Joe in NYC.

The medical costs are staggering in this day and age! Even with health insurance, Joe will face deductibles, co-pays, pharmaceuticals, etc. that could exceed $350,000. We're asking for any help that you may find in your heart to assist Joe & Janet's sure to be prolonged healthcare burden.

You may know Joe for his wonderful smile, his oh so friendly personality, his talented keyboard playing in his Eastridge HS band that is still playing (Eternity), his music related business (Keyboard Repair) and his sound expertise that gets him working backstage for many MEGA bands like Bruce Springsteen.
