Hi, all! Today, I got the estimate for my top surgery! I'm going through Cleveland Surgery Center in Cleveland, Ohio and will be operated on my Dr. Medalie, who has really awesome results that I am more than happy to travel for. The unfortunate thing is that Dr. Medalie does not accept any insurance until after the fact, which means that I need some help. As of now, I'm not sure just how soon I need the funds, but I will make sure to update as soon as possible - Dr. Medalie generally has a wait time of around four months to get into his office.
If you've known me for a while, you know that I've had a fundraiser in the past for the same thing which never panned out. Unfortunately, I was hit with some completely unforeseen university expenses when I transferred, so that's where that money went. Fortunately, though, I'm about to graduate and that's no longer something that will be an issue! So all of my money and the money of wonderfully generous people will go directly into funding me being completely comfortable and confident in my body.
