Tyler's Top Surgery Fund

Hi! My name is Tyler - I am a trans man who needs some financial support in order to finally receive my gender affirming top surgery. This process has taken years, and as a working class individual without health insurance (and already having monthly medical bills), I simply cannot afford to get the surgery on my own without the help of my community.

I have hesitated to ask for help for years because I didn't think my pain was "bad enough". There is so much pain in this world, and I told myself that because mine felt quieter compared to others and that I felt as if I could handle it, that I should just endure it.

But the truth is that the dysphoria I feel around my chest has shaped my life much more than I would like to admit. I avoid activities that I used to love. I avoid certain clothing, afraid too much of my chest will be visible. I've stayed in toxic jobs and housing situations trying to earn myself closer to a body that feels more like home.

These donations will not only help me pay for the surgery itself, but will also help cover expenses during my recovery time as I will be unable to work for at least a month.
