Dan's Emergency Hand Surgery

Hi, My name is Dan Sartain. Yesterday, July 27th, I sustained an injury to my hand that requires surgery. I am a musician and an injury like this could potentially be career ending. I severed a tendon in my right hand and I will never be able to make a fist again without the surgery. My doctor says my case is time sensitive. The surgery must be done within three weeks, before it heals incorrectly or I will forever lose full mobility in my right hand. I'd never ask you to contribute to an artistic endeavor. I feel bad asking anyone for help with this now, but this is urgent and I'm scared. Even with the surgery, I won't be able to use my hand for 3-6 months. Right now I'm putting the finishing touches on my first ever full length live album titled "Live from Century Plaza".
