Oscar Villanueva was a TDS associate out of Ft Stockton, TX who was diagnosed with terminal cancer earlier this year. Oscar had been in the cable industry for over 17 years. He began his career with US Cable in Ft Stockton, Texas, transitioned in Baja Broadband, and then with TDS Telecom. Oscar started out as an entry level, Broadband Tech (BBT) I, then became a warehouse tech and transitioned back out into field and progressed into BBT II. On January 30, 2022, due to Oscar’s health deterioration and the physical demand of a BBT II, he was transferred over into an Advisor-Field Services position, at the tech dispatch center (Work Force Management) under the direction of Jennifer Leibman. Sadly, Oscar’s time with us was too short and he passed away on Thursday, June 27th. We would still like to be able to help his wife, Viola, with expenses during this difficult time.
