My sister finished her softball game on Thursday, July 21st (she went 4 for 4), but needed a runner after she got to first base.  After her game she started having feelings of chest pain and trouble breathing.  Hmmmm what would Dawn do, she drove herself to Henry Mayo (after going through Grimes Canyon) to the Emergency room.  She put her hazard lights on, parked right in front, went in with her cleats and ball  cap on and they admitted her immediately.  A few tests later, it was determined she needed 5 full valve replacements which required open heart surgery.  Dawn was a trooper!!!  So strong and full of life.  She was up walking around the nurses station under 24 hrs after her quint bypass.   Now, she is left with some medical expenses and we are asking for your help.  Let's pay it forward!!
