Help Margaux and AJ Attend FNCE 2025

You can play a part in making our conference dreams come true! My name is Margaux, and my classmate, AJ, and I are graduate students at Bastyr University in Kenmore, WA. We're about to enter the second year of our program: Master of Science in Nutrition with Didactic Program in Dietetics (MSN-DPD). We're both passionate about nutrition and working hard to become Registered Dietitian Nutritionists (RDNs)!

This October, we have the amazing opportunity to level up our learning and make connections at the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics 2025 conference, FNCE, in Nashville, TN. This is the world's largest dietetic conference, saturated with expert food and nutrition knowledge in research, policy, and clinical practice.

Attending FNCE will allow us to connect with other dietetics students and professionals, learn about the latest nutrition research, and explore trending topics (you know, what we see on social media these days)!

I'm especially excited for sessions on autoimmune diseases, food as medicine, ultra-processed foods, farm-based nutrition education, GLP-1 agonists, and Medical Nutrition Therapy access.

AJ can't wait to learn about women's wellness, improving food accessibility for immigrants, refugees, and migrant workers through food banks, and how dietitians can enhance nutrition through cultural adaptations in AAPI, Black, Latino, and South Asian Indian communities.

The timing of this conference couldn't be better! We'll soon be starting the process of internship applications, and FNCE will give us the chance to meet internship directors, discover new career options, and make contacts that could open doors as we step into professional life.

We're looking for support to help cover travel, lodging, registration, and meal expenses for our Nashville conference trip.
