on Tuesday July 26 my 12 year old son Christopher who is the love of my life was rushed to the hospital in York pa with unusual symptoms thinking he had suffered a stroke or
encephalitis after running numerous test including a MRI and cat scans it was determined his needs could be addressed better at Penn State Hershey medical center upon arrival it was determined by a staff of medical professionals second to none that a sinus infection had developed into a bacterial infection that had found its way to the brain neuro surgeons advised immediate brain surgery determine infection and remove the infection that past thru his sinus cavaity to his brain , Our family said prayers and he was rushed in for a  5 hour surgery ( his initial surgery)  he emerged from surgery and was placed in medical coma by powerful narcotics to fight the remaining infection neurosurgeons could not remove ,this has been a battle for Chris's life , during his initial recovery  there was numetous tests and MRI 's  done and it was determined a second surgery (2 hours ) was needed to releive pressure and a fluid hematoma on his brain again Christopher is such a amazing child his strength determination and fight to live spirit has flourished from his weakened condition and has given our family strength beyond belief but still very difficult I'd like to thank all of    the amazing Dr's,Nurses and Hospital staff for the 2 successfull surgeries and life saving treatment that is ongoing every day for my son we do not fully know what  his long term prognosis is just yet but as a family it's just 1 more challenge and journey we are on to provide him happiness well being and a loving family but  there are quite a few unknowns at this point as any parent of Special Needs children can attest to we just ask for Prayers and any donation of LOVE FOR CHRIS  is greatly appreciated from our family to yours we say THANK YOU  & GOD BLESS
