Our daughter Kelsey recently purchased her own business. She needs our support right now. Her company-Saltwater Riders, is a cowboy-surf-inspired brand owned by our 23-year-old daughter. Kelsey, represents the grit and determination of a young dreamer chasing her passion. This past weekend, while attending the NFR rodeo in Las Vegas, Kelsey’s business faced a devastating loss. Her van, containing the entire inventory of Saltwater Riders, along with my business -Hot Off The Press Trends merchandise, was stolen. I am not concerned about my belongings and merchandise. Our hearts are broken for Kelsey and all that she has lost. Among the items taken were custom T-shirts, jackets, hoodies, flannels, and denim jackets—products that embodied countless hours of creativity and hard work. All of her clothing racks, POS System and much more. Along with these items, all of our Christmas gifts that were purchased at Cowboy Christmas were also stolen. Thousands of dollars worth of business merchandise as well as personal items. I do not need anything for myself, this fundraiser is solely for Kelsey to help get her back on her feet and to make a living with the company she loves. My concern is for our daughter at this time.
We are rallying together to help Kelsey rebuild her dream. As a young business owner, this loss is a crushing setback, but with your support, she can rise from this adversity. Whether it’s $1, $5, or more, every donation will go directly towards replacing the stolen inventory and helping Kelsey get Saltwater Riders back on its feet. Let’s show her the strength of community and prove that no setback can dim the light of a determined spirit. Thank you for standing with Kelsey during this challenging time! In the spirit of giving back, Kelsey will donate 15% to Saint Jude Children's Hospital, as this charity hold a special place in Kelsey's heart. Let's lift Kelsey up and show this amazing young lady there are still amazing people in this world. I know with your help, and prayers Kelsey will rebuild stronger than ever. Thank you so much for your support.
