Dee Hun Thomas Cancer Fight

We are starting this Go Fund me page to help raise funds to help this single mother of 3 boys, 2 of which still live at home, off set the cost of the chemo treatments and help keep the roof over their heads and the lights on while she is not able to work.  All funds will go directly to Dee and be placed in her cancer fund account.

Dee was never sick, never felt ill, never showed signs of being ill.  She was going through a very rough patch with her soon to be ex husband and felt the weight loss she was seeing was due to the stress she was under.  She suddenly developed a distended stomach and her sons finally got her to agree to go to the hospital to be checked.  The hospital removed over 8 liters of fluid from her abdomen and did testing.

Dee was diagnosed January 2019 with stage 4 multiple organs cancer.  She has cancer of the uterus, colon, liver, ovaries, cervix and lungs.  She has completed 18 weeks of chemo with every 3rd week a double chemo treatment.  She is fighting the fight with a wonderful outlook on treatment.  Even with the loss of her hair, eyebrows, and eyelashes she is still beautiful and most of the time full of life.

You may recognize Dee from when she made the rounds of local establishments creating a fun atmosphere for entertainment with her company USA Karaoke.  Or you may know her from Glenn Kelly Real Estate where she is a realtor.

At the end of June Dee will have a full body scan to see if the lung tumors are related to the stomach cancer, if they are not then they will proceed with surgery on the abdomen.   At which point she will be in the hospital up to 1 month and then home bound for 3 more months.
