My friend Mike needs your help and support!
As we finish 2019 and start 2020, most of us don't know what the year is going to bring. But, Mike does. It is going to bring the fight of his life, for his life, to fight and beat the Esophageal cancer he was diagnosed with in November of 2019.
Mike just turned 50 this past summer and married the love of his life, Anne (picture on story is from their wedding day). He is a loving husband, father, and veteran. Mike is a private person and resisted initial attempts by friends and family to try raising money through sites such as this, but the costs he has already incurred are tremendous, with more adding up every day. He has been in and out of the hospital and ER, required emergency surgery, has already started radiation, will soon start chemotherapy, needs more surgery... And this is only the beginning of his journey! Much $$ is required from him, more than what he and Anne can provide. So, he finally relented and agreed to let me post his story to hopefully lessen the financial burden on him and Anne.
Please help Mike's fight! We can't take a radiation or chemo treatment for him, or take away pain or nausea from the cancer or treatment. But we CAN help ease his mind by taking away some of the worrying about how he and his wife are going to manage the bills already piling up.
Any donation amount is appreciated and will help!
