Dear Friends and Family,

As many of you know, my beautiful cousin, Mary Laura Riddle-Nelson, lost her son on Monday night, July 25th. Zach was a loving boy with a kind heart and a smile that would light up a room, he will be forever missed. The outpouring of love and support in the wake of this tragedy has been truly overwhelming. The family is grateful for the ongoing prayers.

Many have asked Laura what they can do to help and she has made one simple request, only asking that we hold our children close to us, reminding us that life can change in an instant. I know many of us want to do more for the Nelson’s. I asked permission to set up this page for those who wish to assist with the unexpected costs the family is now faced with. While we can never relieve the pain this family is experiencing, we can help to take their mind off of the costs associated with this tragedy and planning a funeral.
