Augustus (Gus) is a sweet, flirtatious little boy that has been dished out a bad hand these past few months. Most recently it has been ear infections that resulted in tubes, adenoid and tonsil removal. All went well except for these past few weeks Gus hasn't been himself. An ongoing cough that would not subside. An er visit that resulted in walking pneumonia and bronchitis. This poor sweetie has been on antibiotics more than any child should be. Now this past Friday when things did not get better, Erin (mother) rushed him to North Platte ER where they ambulanced Gus to Omaha Children's Hospital.
Over the course of the week, Gus has been poked (extensively) prodded, and medicated. He has diagnosed with Pneumonia, Asthma, Influenza A, a severe sinus infection and his lungs STILL continue to fill with fluid even after being on 3 antibiotics and steroids. He is dehydrated. He is being pumped with oxygen for having low O2 levels and he still is not out of the woods.

John (dad) has not been able to been with Erin and Gus as he has had to take care of the 2 girls they have PLUS run the business they own. Medical costs are piling up. They are proud people that would never ask for help but as a loving friend this is something I can do to help them.
