Lucas Cooper to get eyesight back

Hi,
My name is Christina and our family is trying to raise money for our cousin Lucas. He was hit by a dump truck while on his harley. They didnt think he would make it cause there was alot of damage to his head even with his helmet on. He had surgery to put his brain in his head and to relieve the swelling. The doctors did not think he would make it, but with the power of prayer family and friends and the wonderful doctor he pulled through.
Right now he has alot of scarring, but his optical nerves are detached in the back and we are starting this to raise the money to get his eyesight back. He has good times of the day and bad times of the day. But as his family we believe that with his eyesight back it may make things easier for him for one and also he was doing engineering and he loves his work which he can not do at this point.
We have done some research on what it might cost to do this surgery and $15,000 is the lowest we found but no gurantee. Now it just goes so much higher to at least $30,000.
This means so much to us because he was always so full of life and still is dont get me wrong but we can see the hurt in his eyes because he needs help with everything. This really would mean so much to our whole family.
