Hey Facebook Friends and Family,

I, Megan McCown, am creating this gofundme account for my brother Justin, his wife Katie, and their two children.

They built and moved into their home just over a year ago. Like many, their house was not in a flood zone; therefore, they didn't have flood insurance. With the recent flood, their home town of Maurice was one of the hardest to be hit. At least foot of water sat in their house for over 24 hours. The walls have been ripped, toys and clothes bagged, and furniture moved. Many of you, family and friends, have asked how you can help. The help they could use now is getting their home put back together. Any donation size could really help them to do just that. No one's "rainy day fund" is prepared for this kind of catastrophe. They are not the kind of people that would ask for help, so I am doing it on their behalf!
