Patty Spangler's Medical Bills

My mom, Patty Spangler, has been a Social Worker at Human Service Center for many years. Monday through Friday she helped adults with special needs. Every other weekend she would handle crisis calls from all around Southern Illinois and even Missouri. She has a heart of gold, a love for people and a passion for those in need of care. 

Patty started having severe abdominal and back pain three months ago. She saw several different doctors before they decided to remove her gallbladder. However, the surgeon was unable to remove it because he discovered a very large tumor not only on the gallbladder, but the liver, bile duct and lymph nodes as well. Her world was turned upside down when she was diagnosed with Stage IV Gallbladder Cancer.

Yesterday, she returned to the hostpital due to severe vomiting and weightloss. The new CT Scan showed the small duct leading to the pancreas is blocked by tumors. Her hope to begin chemo this Friday has been put on hold.

I am asking you to consider donating funds to help pay some of Patty Spangler's medical bills. She has a long and hard road ahead of her.
