Andy McIsaac Family Support
Donation protected
My brother Andy was recently diagnosed with a recurrent brain tumor. Tuesday night he had a seizure, collapsed to the ground, stopped breathing, and was rushed by ambulance to the Emergency Department. He's 42 years old, has been married for 16 years to Bobbette, and they have 3 beautiful children: Cody (18) graduated from high school this year, Laurelyn is 15 and Max is 13.
Fourteen years ago he had emergent brain surgery to remove a tumor which presented in a very similar fashion. They had only just begun to recover from a house fire the year before. The medical bills and recovery process nearly devistated their family financially and emotionally.
Andy is awaiting a biopsy and treatment plan. Because of the seizure he cannot drive for at least 6 months, by law, and will be unable to continue working in full capacity, as he has been, to provide for his family. What will be covered by medical insurance is tenuous and uncertain. Please help in whatever way that you can. This process may be long and drawn out, likely requiring chemo, radiation therapy, and travel to recieve the care that he needs. Their family could use many forms of support at this point. The very last thing I want them worried about is, 'How are we going to pay for this?'
