Send me to the 20th Montessori Foundations Conference (and more)!
As I enter into my twelfth year as a Montessori teacher I have been invited to present at the 20th International Montessori Foundations Conference in Sarasota, Florida!
I will be sharing the amazing social justice, anti-racist work I share with my Lower Elementary students with Montessori teachers from across the country and around the world! My workshop, "Fostering Peace & Transformation: Creating A Social Justice Curriculum For Your Montessori Classroom," will provide the examples and tools to teachers so they may create their own Peace and Social Justice workshops for their own classrooms!
This workshop will empower teachers and students to work towards a more equitable and just world.
While at the conference, I will be able to learn from many Montessorians from this country and abroad and attend workshops about Cosmic Education, the Second Plane of Development, Geometry, and many more. These connections and workshops will
The cost of attending this conference is expensive and I need some help!
The funds raised will be used for airfare, accommodations, travel, and presentation materials.
Please donate whatever you can… every little bit is much appreciated!
If any additional funds are raised, they will be used to send me to:
the 2017 MEPI (Montessori Education Programs International) Conference, in South Carolina, where I will be presenting two workshops, and
the AMS (American Montessori Society) Conference, in San Diego where I will represent Montessorians of Color, learn from and build community with other Montessorians who are passionate about Social Justice, and bring back useful tools and information for my school community.
