Thanks to the support of wonderful people Rucker, Mama Sunshine and Rocky have been successfully treated for heart worms. We have two dogs left to treat. Heidi is next, she is a Schnauzer mix who came in to the McDowell County Animal Shelter.

A dog should not have do die because their former owners were not responsible enough to provide protection against heartworm disease.
