On Friday July 15, 2016, my brother, Thom McCann was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident while riding as a Patriot Guard escort for a fallen veteran.
Thom has been in Barnes-Jewish Hospital Intensive Care Unit and their trauma unit for 9 days and is now in the Rehab Institute. He will undergo one if several facial reconstructive surgeries on July 28th.
For years he has devoted himself to the Patriot Guard, the Masons, the Moohlah Shriner’s and supported the Festival of the Little Hills in St. Charles. He loves what he does, he loves his brotherhood of friends, and his neighbors in St. Charles and beyond.
Thom is going to have a lengthy recovery. He was not a wealthy man - his wealth is his friends and neighbors that he cherishes. He is going to need help from us all to pay his mortgage, utilities, and medical expenses.
