Sandy Sellers
Sandy was born and raised in Chicago. In 1989, she relocated to the beautiful beaches of Florida. Shortly thereafter, on September 9, 1990 (her birthday), she started working at The Friendly Tavern. And 26 years later she is still our friendly, gracious, smiling bartender at The Friendly Tavern.
She married Donnie Sellers in 2000, and the couple is still happily married 16 years later. They have had many children; the more interesting kind, like chickens, bees, raccoons and whatever other animals wander into their beautiful yard.
She attended University of South Florida, graduating in 2007 with Bachelors Degree in Cartography.
When she is not at The Friendly, you will probably find her helping her friends, taking care of some animals, traveling around the world or just basking in the sun on the beach somewhere.
Sandy was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. We are all behind her with thoughts, prayers and any support that we can give her. All proceeds from this donation page, as well as the Friendfest Celebration for her birthday, will be given to Sandy during this time.
Stay Strong Sandy! You are not alone in this fight.
