I am starting this fund for my dear friend Laura Wade.

 As you all know Laura, recently lost the love of her life on July 13, 2016. Thom passed away in his sleep, he left this earth way too soon. Thom blessed Laura with 3 very bright , compassionate,  caring individuals you would ever meet and she needs your help to get them through college.  

Even though Thom was retired from the school district he was still working part time at the high school and the money that he was earning was helping to fund the childrens education.  They were blind sided by Thom's passing,  and now the financial responsibility falls solely on Laura to get all 3 children through college just like Thom had planned.

Thom was diligent about instilling in the kids on how important college is and perfecting that important college entrance essay so they could persue their dreams.  

Dylan just graduated from Hawaii University in December, and is enrolled at Santa Clara University of Law.  Dylan leaves in 2 weeks.  Caitlin and Patrick both just graduated from Arroyo Grande High  School with honors.   Caitlin is enrolled  at the University of Utah as a physical theraphy major and Caitlin leaves in 3 weeks.  Patrick is also enrolled at Santa Clara University, but he is studying economics.   He doesn't leave till the end of August.  

If you were lucky enough to come to Thom's celebration of life you would of heard how beautifully Caitlin sang,  how eloquent and funny Patrick was reminiscing about how funny his dad was,  and Dylan's slide show - so powerful.
