Dear Family and Friends,
I am writing to ask you if you would be willing to be part of a mission opportunity that I am hoping to be a part of in early Summer of 2016. In late June, Grace Church will be sending a team to Honduras to partner with Bridge Ministries in Comayagua, to disciple, teach and encourage the believers there. (eccbm.com)
The cost of the trip is approximately $1,455 per person. That includes airfare, transportation, and food and lodging for the week. Each team member is responsible for paying that amount, and soon we need to pay a deposit for this trip. I really need help with this expense, and would like to ask you if you would please consider providing some financial support. Any amount that you feel led to give would be extremely helpful and greatly appreciated.
I also would like to ask if you would please consider being a prayer partner for this mission trip. Prayer is the backbone of any mission trip, and is critical to the success of this particular mission to Honduras as well. Prayer needs at this time are for: creative, God-led strategies and ideas for teaching, spiritual covering for the individual team members as they prepare to go, blessings on our ministry partners in Honduras, and the Holy Spirit’s Presence in preparing the hearts of the adults and children that we will be ministering to. If you would like to be a prayer partner, I will send you updates on prayer needs as they develop.
If you would like to be involved, either through prayer or financially (or both!), please let me know. Checks should be made out to Grace Church, with a separate note attached letting the them know who the donation is for. If my name is not on the check, this will ensure that you receive a receipt for tax deduction for your contribution. You can give the check to me and I will submit it to our team leader, or you can donated online here at gofundme.com/2gk78kss . All donations are going to be received through 4/24/16, for the trip and after if you would like to possibly sponsor a child. No donation is too small!
