Kure for Keira

Connor and I got our sweet puppy on Saturday, and unfortunately after two days of having her, she got really sick. We took her to the vet and found out she has Parvo. Parvo is a highly contagious viral disease that can produce a life-threatening illness. The virus attacks rapidly dividing cells in a dog’s body, most severely affecting the intestinal tract. Parvovirus also attacks the white blood cells, and when young animals are infected, the virus can damage the heart muscle and cause lifelong cardiac problem.

She had to be admitted to the animal hospital in confinement for treatment. We would do anything to see that she gets better, but unfortunately that can be costly. Connor just recently got laid off, so vet bills are going to be difficult for us. I don't like asking for handouts, but I would do anything so save this sweet girl's life.
