Kay's Basic Needs Fund

Today we were given tough news. My Mom was diagnosed with Stage 4 Mouth Cancer that has spread to her jaw bone. She will be having major surgery to remove the tumor and jaw. They will replace her jaw bone with part of her fibula. She will be given a tracheotomy to prevent airway obstruction after surgery, and They will be removing her teeth during this time due to preparing for radiation therapy. The radiation therapy will last 7 weeks requiring a long trip to downtown Houston daily. A feeding tube will be put in place during the healing process. She will be in the hospital for up to 2 weeks after surgery. I am asking from the bottom of my heart for financial assistance to help cover hospital cost, lodging, and travel expenses.
