Hello, my name is Randy Smith. I have been a radio dj for the last 20+ years. I have also written and recorded numerous songs that I've played on the radio over the years. These songs were all recorded in my basement so the quality is significantly lower than it sould be.
However the quality of the music is high. They just need to be recorded in a professional studio. These songs have been amazingly popular with audiences in Chattanooga and Knoxville, TN. Three weeks ago I lost my job of 15 years.
My goal in life has always been to to make people laugh...to escape....to enjoy themselves.
I've also had the goal of recording a comedy cd that will win a Grammy. The songs are done, all I need now is the funding to make a lot of people laugh while winning the award of a lifetime!
So here's how I'm gonna do it...
I've enlisted members of Chattannooga's favorite bands to help me. Obviously part of the funding will go to pay the musicians. We will rent out a studio. How many hours it will take to record will depends on how fast we can get it done. Which studio we can afford ultimately will depend on how much money we raise. The better the studio and personnel, the better the final product.
