Becky's Backyard

Becky, a beautiful wife and mother of two amazing children, needs to see the back yard she and her family have always dreamed of.  You see, Becky is terminally sick. She has battled many types of cancer and now a continued brain tumor that has made her unable to build a back yard with her family. We don't know how many days or weeks she has, but we need to help her see her back yard.  

I am the principal at North Elementary School in Franklin Park where Anthony & Becky's children attend.  They are a beautiful and strong family and this morning I went to visit.  Anthony just kept saying that he needs to get some sod, pavers and a pergola up so Becky can see it.  As Anthony said, "Even if for one monent I can wheel her out there.  Man, I just gotta get it done."

The money would be used for materials and we will get volunteers to come do all of the work.  I pray that we can get the funds as soon as possible, because we have no control over how long she will be with us on Earth.

This would mean the world to me to help this family during this difficult time.  The kids will always know that "Becky's back yard" was a gift from loving people who want to help.  They will cherish time back there for the rest of their lives and know that their mommy saw it.  It feels like this one last thing needs to get finished...

In our world we hear about all of the violence and so do our children.  I would be forever thankful to give this family something happy, positive and uplifting to remember their mom, wife, sister, daughter and friend.  Thank you so very much for any consideration.
