My name is Mike, and I'm married to Caroline who has recently lost the use of her legs due to Transverse Myelitis.
Our insurance doesn't cover all of the medical bills, or the costs of a new wheelchair ramp or special mattress for our home. The money raised here will go towards covering those expenses. We need the ramp so she can enter and exit our home at will and go outside with our 11 year old son Matthew so he can spend time outside with her.
She's due to be released from the hospital on 8/3, and we need to prepare our home for her arrival, so need the money as soon as possible to pay for the additions.
This would mean a great deal to me and my family. Caroline is a fighter and is in great spirits, but we need to help her in this fight to walk again. Any assistance is greatly apreciated, and will go a long way to ensuring that Caroline will have the tools to work hard to recovery without worrying about how to get around and how the bills will be paid.
