Hula in the Heavens

In July 2013, my beautiful mother, Virginia Sosa, was diagnosed with colon cancer at the age of 59.  After what seemed to be a successful surgery in November 2013, the cancer unfortunately returned in October 2014 with a vengeance spreading throughout her entire body. 

She began the chemo treatment in the midst of caring for her elderly mother and running her own Polynesian dance troupe.  Her husband, Roger, became the sole provider for the household supporting, both, her elderly mother and my mom, as things began to become more and more difficult. 

My mom's health began to rapidly decline shortly after my grandmother's death.  After a year and a half of struggle, she decided to end her chemo treatment.  As a final attempt, she explored more holistic methods and even traveled abroad seeking a cure.  Unfortunately, her body could no longer handle any form of treatment.

On July 26, her suffering ended with her family at her side.  We are hoping to help alleviate the financial burden placed upon her grieving husband.  The funds raised will be used to assist with funeral costs and extensive medical bills.  We would appreciate any support you can provide including your prayers for the family.
