I am posting this on go fundme because I have a lovable sweet friend Georgene Pope who out of the blue was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. She was a vibrant person who was always full of life and very compassionate toward everyone she ever met. She worked very hard her entire life. Her humour was simply incredible. Then four months ago her life was devastated with the news she had stage four pancreatic cancer. She could not understand why she had lost 20 lbs and became weaker, and weaker till she collapsed on her kitchen floor. We rushed to her to the hospital. After 4 gastrologists did ultra sounds and two endoscopy with cats and she was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. She was devastated. She lost 10 more pounds. After a week at one hospital she was send to rehab hospital to work on her muscles and to try to add weight to her body. Unfortunately we rushed her to another hospital because this rehab place over medicated her and dehydrated her to the point that she almost past away.
She has been on chemo for two months, but unfortunately she has been out of work for 4 months. All she has is a little social security check that does not even cover her rent. She can not pay for anything including her utilities, food, and some medicines. This woman deserves some help because she has always helped everyone that came into her life. Please donate what you can to help her. She has a long road ahead of her with months of chemo. Having to worry about paying bills when she has zero funds to pay them troubles her mind and soul. If we can help her concentrate on getting better instead of dwelling on all the debt she owes it will help her spirits considerbily. Let us please help this sweet woman concentrate on getting well.
