My dad is a Navy Vetran who was diagnosed with stage 3 lung cancer early last year and has put up the fight that any soldier would. He worked all the way up until May 2016. He did chemo and radiation and in the end even tried Opdivo to try to lengthen his life, instead he has gone through many of the side effects. He is the step father to 6 kids, all adults now, who love and respect him like he is their own father. The last few weeks have been extremely hard, he isnt able to eat. At all. We are looking to raise funds to pay the final costs of the services for his burial and all final bills. My dad worries a lot about things that shouldnt be on his mind. Final costs are one of those things. So heres my idea, go fund me.... One less thing to worry about is what I am hoping to give to him with helping set up this account. All help that is given here would mean the world to our family. Its hard enough to watch someone you love die from cancer, but  to worry how to pay the final costs is overwhelming. It would be stress relieving on us while we are already going through a delicate time. Having it as soon as we could would be great. We dont have much time left with him.
