Remembering Adelina Lafontaine
Donation protected
My mother, Adelina (also known as Carmen) Lafontaine passed away on 7/25/2016 at 12:19am. She was an amazing mother and an extremely supportive, devoted grandmother. I can’t even describe the pain that our family is going through. My mother was one of a kind with the purest heart and soul and anyone who knew her would agree with me. Not only was she just a grandma to her three grandkids, but she was known as everyone's grandma. We were all so lucky to have her in our lives. Not only did she raise my sister and I, but many other women's children. She provided a warm and loving home to those she took care of over the years. She raised each child as if they were her own and touched all their lives.
She is survived by her two daughters Leslie, Myself (Mayra) and her three beautiful grandchildren Epiphanyblu, Madison, Elijahmoon and her loving son-in-laws Stanley and John. She fought a tough fight and won as a breast cancer survivor the first time; unfortunately, her second battle was a bit tougher and she lost her fight. She suffered a lot at the end and I know now that she is pain free and is no longer suffering. My hope and prayer is that she is watching over us, pain free. We love and miss her more than words can describe.
In the days ahead we will be experiencing many medical expenses and any donation will help us. If anyone could help us out it would be greatly appreciated. If a donation can’t be made a simple prayer would help as well to lift her spirits.
We thank you for your donation and prayers. May God bless each and everyone of you and know that we appreciate all of your assistance.
