8-year-old Alex woke up the morning of May 20th in terrible pain. The doctors said he needed to have his appendix removed and he’d probably be going home that night. Unfortunately, things haven’t gone that way. Just a few days later, he’s in the pediatric ICU with a feeding tube and still miserable.

Family and friends have rallied to support Alex’s parents and 3-year-old brother. Prayers are pouring in for his quick recovery and return to a normal life. But his parents really need another kind of support too.

Medical bills are incredibly expensive by themselves, but combined with lost wages and the incidental costs of basically moving into a hospital have left this young family really struggling. Anything we can raise would be a blessing.
