Mills Family Support Fund

On Sunday, July 24, the home of Melanie Mills and her daughter Besse was destroyed by a fire.  Melanie, a teacher with the Terrebonne Parish School System, was able to escape with Besse, but both  were injured in the fire with Besse sustaining second and third-degree burns to over 30% of her body. Besse, who also has spina bifida, is currently receiving treatment at University Medical Center in Shreveport, Louisiana. 

We are currently raising funds to provide assistance to the Mills family to cover the cost of medical expenses, travel expenses, and to begin to rebuild and replace their belongings.
