Hello friends.
For the last few years, and especially in the last 6 months or so, Abbey Fenstermacher had been battling with Schizoaffective disorder. Early in 2016, Abbey spent a month in the hospital trying to fight the disease and was in and out of the hospital intermittently throughout the following months.
On Friday, July 22, Abbey took her life.
She was a strong, beautiful and loving person. Everyone who knew her can attest to that. She loved unashamedly and brought so much color to the world.
Abbey's family are also wonderful people. They were incredibly supportive of her struggles and did everything in their power to hear her and help her.
Though she is gone from earth, she is far from forgotten, and will be forever loved.
However, a lot expenses have built up throughout this year for the family.
This page was created in hopes of easing some of that financial burden for them. Dave (father), Beth (mother), and Sadie (younger sister) are all so loved by the Fort Wayne community and beyond.
All donations will be given directly to the Fenstermacher family.
I'm also attaching links to some graphic novels that Abbey wrote. She was a great writer and a wonderful artist. These stories help to understand what she was going through.
