Thrift it Forward ♡

My name is Sarah I am one of the co-founders of the group N.A.H. we are community group that has been working with the homeless in Cabarrus and Rowan counties for a little over a year now. We are raising money to help get our thrift store off the ground! The money will be used for upfit to turn the location we ha e secured into a public store. Over yhe past year, We have had the joy of helping several people/families get out of the shelter. And we want se many more!  This is where opening a thrift store comes in :) we plan to use the revenue to do even more in the community! Some of you know how our group (N.A.H.)  literally started overnight and we have done so much with the support of the community over the last year or so its amazing! Thank you all so much!! We had no idea what we were doing, we just took on things as we learned about the needs of the homeless community. We have had some disappointments which we knew we would, but it has not stopped us or changed our hearts on this matter. And every single time we have called out for help you guys have always been right there. This has literally changed the way I thought about the community we live in, I think I just never knew how great and loving people could still be, you see so much negative, its hard to see the good. But I have surely seen it now. So I have spent almost a year now trying to figure out what road God wanted me to take in this mission of ours and I have prayed and talked and talked and prayed. I want to do more, I want to help others do more if they can and want to. Ultimately I decided to open a thrift store, the location will be right beside the pet spa. (This way I can be present ) and with the help of friends and family we will use the funds from the store to help at least one family or individual get out of an area shelter or off the streets each month by paying their deposits and or rent for them. We also want to do a clothing closet especially for children who are in need of clothing that would allow them a certain amount of items each season for free. As well as a food pantry. The building we are hoping to acquire is large enough for all of these things to be incorporated. So please donate, if you see fit to help us get this up and going ASAP. Prayers are always appreciated as well. We all hope to really use this as a tool to do the things we set out to do from day one and get people off the streets who do not wish to be there.
