Supporting the Olson’s

November 26th 2020 we were having our family thanksgiving. We ate and shared laughs not knowing what would occur the following day. November 27th around 9am, my mom took my dad to the er as he was having difficulties speaking and walking. Because of covid, my mom was unable to be with him. We later found out my dad suffered from a stroke. We are very lucky that the efforts of the stroke were mild but still affecting his daily life. He has some difficulties speaking, walking, and have lost some mobility on his left side. He’s a fall risk and because of that he can’t be alone. My mom and I are cutting hours at our jobs so we can take care of him. He will be going to speech,  occupational and physical therapy several times a week. He’s on medication to help prevent another stroke from happening. I am wanting to help my parents with their bills so they have one less thing to worry about during this time.
