http://m.cancer.org/cancer/multiplemyeloma/detailedguide/multiple-myeloma-what-is-multiple-myeloma My dad, Glenn Chambliss , is one of the strongest men I know. He was recently diagnosed with multiple myeloma which is a bone and blood cancer. Doctors have been treating it with aggressive chemo and recently he started radiation. August 8th he will have to make a trip to a hospital in Arkansas that specializes in his cancer specifically. They will be running tests for a bone marrow transplant. This trip will not be his last trip to Arkansas it will be one of many. Since being diagnosed and out of work his pay has been cut a lot. Luckily insurance is covering everything for now but they will need help with travel expenses. This will include gas, hotel, and food for each time they have to go to Arkansas. If you dont have it to give than thats fine but if you have a little extra to help my dad out in this time of need please do. Every little but will help. My dad has always been the man to help everyone when they need him. Now he is the one who needs the help. We wouldnt be asking if we didnt really need it.
