Our little Ninja Twins entered the world at 24 weeks 1 day and 24 weeks 2 days, twins with diffrent birthdays! Wyatt was born on July 12th weighing in at 1 lb 6 oz and Blake was born July 13th weighing the same as his brother! Jake and Alicia have spent every possible moment with their sweet, tiny boys in the NICU.

Jake has taken 2 weeks off of work without paid leave and Alicia hasn't been able to work because of being placed on bedrest so early in her pregnancy. Our goal is to help them finacically overcome the next several months, the boys are scheduled to stay in the NICU for at least 3 months. Gas, food, and living expenses are going to need to be supplemented. Jake and Alicia spend 2 hours everyday coming and going from home and the hospital. They are in need of fund immediatly to continue to be able to make the trips, rent and food.

Medical Expenses with Micro-premies will be an ongoing need, and will change as they grow. Blake has been recently diagnoised with a heart murmor, with this has brought on a new challenge of having a small connective issue where a valve that is usually closed off at birth has not closed because of delivering so early. This is causing an issue with blood flow to his kidneys. He has been placed on medication to help correct the blood flow issue and to close the valve, but if that doesn't work, Blake would have to be transferred to a larger hospital farther away and have a small open heart surgery to repair the valve and get his blood flowing in the right direction. Having 2 babies in the NICU brings on its own daily challenges having 2 in 2 diffrent NICU's over an hour apart would be extremly diffucult. Wyatt has started moving in the right direction with his breathing but is still getting more assistance then Blake in that area.
