Visit dying dad fund

My dad just had both kidneys fail, which caused a fluid buildup in his chest cavity, which caused congestive heart failure. We're very certain he doesn't have much time left. My wife and I are both working class, and have never taken a paid vacation, much less two weeks off to travel a thousand miles to see a dying parent for possibly the last time. If I don't make it in time, the trip will be to comfort my grieving mother. I'm asking for enough to cover the trip for my wife and I, and our two sons, plus enough to cover our time off work, and new clothes for our boys. They shouldn't have to attend the funeral of their grandfather being the poorest looking people in the room. Thank you for any help you can afford to give. God bless you.
