Hello family and friends this is Gloria D. Jones-Kariem, Daughter of Ester Knight.
Sadly on July 21, 2016, we unexpectedly received terrible news about our Mom. She passed away on Thursday, July 21th at 12:14 am.
She is the mother of six amazing kids, Ester Knight, Larry Capers, Kevin Knight, Julianne Knight, Isaac Knight, and Robert Jones Jr. My mom was friendly, loving, and caring. She was loved by many people and would always make everyone smile. She tried her best to help those in need in whichever way she possibly could. She was a very hard worker and never gave up on anyone or anything. My mother feed the homeless and worked with the youth with her personal expenses every chance she could. She joined Tabernacle Prayer of All People on Colley Ave in Norfolk Virginia in 1988, where she soon started her Ministry. She was a person who you could confide with and was always there to listen. Gloria was a great mom, friend, inspiration and touched every soul she ever came across. She left us abruptly but is in Heaven still looking over us.
Due to some unfortunate circumstances, there are additional expenses that need to be covered. We are focusing any donations to all of her funeral costs, since her passing was unexpected. We are hoping to start processing all arrangements in the beginning of this week to have everything done by the weekend. (For more information please contact Julianne Knight at [email redacted])
