On October 23rd, our beloved Aja Yaremi Fernandez passed away after a long and difficult battle with sickle cell disease. She was a fighter until the very end. After being hospitalized for two months, her liver suffered an iron overload from repeated blood transfusions, which then caused kidney complications. Despite everything, the doctors remained hopeful that she would recover and be home soon. Sadly, on Thursday night, we received the heartbreaking call that she had passed away.

She leaves behind three loving sons ages 21, 17, and 12 who are deeply grieving the loss of their mother.

We are asking for any help, big or small, to assist with her cremation expenses and to support her younger children as they navigate this painful time. Your generosity and prayers mean the world to our family.
