On July 7, 2016, my 3  year old grandson, James was hit by a riding lawnmower and was airlifted to the children's hospital in Denver.  After hours in surgery the physicians explained to my son that little James had lost his genitals and most of his right leg.   James had an additional surgery to do an Van Ness Rotational plasty which used his ankle to give him a knee joint, as well as taking some muscles out of his calf to replace the ones lost in his thigh.    He has a tube in his belly direct into his bladder because of the loss of his genitals. Little James had an additional surgery to do some skin grafting.  After the surgery the doctors were concerned about the way the right leg was healing and he came home in a body cast because they had to move around some muscles and reset the bones. 

My my son is estranged from his wife and came to stay with us.  We welcomed Little James and his two sisters, Caitlyn age 7 and Paige age 5 into our home. He needs our help to take care of the children.  He has not been back to work since this happened because little James needs around the clock care.   Little James has to  take many medication several times a day and cries in agony.   My son comforts him tenderly and patiently as well as taking care of his 2 daughters.  

Our hearts breaking for our son James and we are asking for your help for the mounting bills so that he  can give little James and his sisters the quality of life they deserve!
