This is a school/educational Fundraising for
Chisom C. Obi ( 13 years old) and her sister, Oluchi C. Obi (9 years old) who recently lost both parents due to long illnesses.
First, it was their father Sir Obiora C Obi , who passed away in November of 2013, from a cancer related illness and then their mother, Mrs. Chinelo Miriam Obi who recently passed due to prolonged illness, July 7th, 2016.
Within 3 years, both the sisters lost both parents, as they were still mourning and greiving the death of their father, their mother got very ill, fought hard but succumed to her illness July 7th, 2016.
The girls are currently staying with their aunt and uncle, (who already have children of their own).
I grew up with the father, Sir Obiora Obi, and we have been friends for over 30 years. This is something he would have wanted me to do for his children.
The purpose of the gofundme is to help alleviate some of the finacial burden on the children's aunt and uncle and help cover expenses that will be incurred this upcoming Fall 2016 and Spring 2017 school year in terms school supplies, books, clothes, shoes , school aftercare, relevant expenses related to their education for the upcoming school year.
This means so much to me as a very close and dear friend of both of the deceased parents, I am also a parent of three children myself and truly understand firsthand the finincial difficulty the new caregivers may experience and I humbly plead for your help so these two beautiful young girls who lost both parents in three years may at least have what they need to get through this upcoming school year.
